The Hilton MyBar

Located 7 minutes West of Adelaide, the Hilton MyBar is an cosy pub that mixes formal and pub like setting to create a unique atmosphere that is a stark difference from the previous venture of the Highway. Walking in, the Hilton MyBar there appears to be a split between a more pub setting closer to the drinks, but also a more restaurant like quality with lovely decor and dim lighting to set the mood.
The Price for a schnitty at the Hilton MyBar is so far the cheapest of the schnittys at a cost of $20. However, most schnitty’s we have been too range around the $20-$22 mark. The schnitty is served with fresh garden salad that is not served in a bowl, but rather on the plate, a serve of battered chips and a decent size schnitty, but not the largest of the places we have been too.
The Schnitty itself gained mixed reviews with us due to the consistency of the quality. Two of us enjoyed the schnitty, however the other two had firm complaints about the schnitty being too tough and the crumb easily fell off or was slighty burnt. Furthermore, the gravy in itself was lacking with all of us wishing for some extra gravy to coat the rest of the schnitty and some of the chips.
The Hilton Mybar upper hand comes with the atmosphere. The combination of the pub feel and restaurant added a relaxed, comfortable scene that wasn’t too upper class, but no too bogan where it was too noisy for us to have a conversation with. The Hilton MyBar was the place we stayed the longest afterwards to have a chat with.
Overall, it would be a great place to take someone on a first date, but not the best place we would recommend for a schnitty
